We're Often Imitated, Never Duplicated!

---

Please be cautious if you decide to buy your child’s bike from private sellers or private traders. After all, your child’s safety, comfort, and overall biking experience depend heavily on the quality of the bike you purchase for them.

We receive numerous messages on a weekly basis from parents buying or looking to purchase what appeared to be a great secondhand bike from “private bike traders” (people buying and selling multiple bikes for quick cash profit), only to find out they are unsafe or not in as-described condition.

As a buyer, ask yourself:

🛑 Do they advertise their bikes with at least a three-month guarantee❓

🛑 Have they got great feedback from previous buyers and built up a reputation with five-star reviews & recommendations❓

🛑 Are their bikes as described? Clean, safe, serviced, and ready to ride❓

🛑 Are they DBS checked❓

(Criminal Record Check)

🛑 Are they qualified, do they have the experience, and the right workshop tools to thoroughly check over, service, and safety check a bike❓

🛑 Do they have the knowledge of Frog & Squish Bikes, their sizing, and are willing to recommend and not just sell❓

🛑 Do they send you quality photos that you can zoom in on to check the condition of the bike before you travel to see the bike in person❓

🛑 Do they offer part exchange value, potentially the same amount you would get if you sold privately❓

🛑 Would the seller be able to help you out if you encountered a problem with the bike a few weeks, months, or years after purchase❓

🛑 Do they offer a free six-month after-sales adjustment check, as you would get purchasing a brand-new bike from a trusted bike shop❓

🛑 And last but not least… why do you think they are trading bikes❓

The answer to this last question is most likely, “just to make cash”… and not… “offering outstanding customer service whilst being passionate in what they are creating”.

Purchasing a refurbished Frog or Squish bike from ourselves means you won’t have to ask these questions as we have already built up a trusted reputation, both with customers and Frog & Squish bikes themselves, offering award-winning, outstanding customer service over many years, that we will uphold.
