About Us
Refurbished Frog Bikes was founded by Dave Wannell. Dave is a father of two and a keen mountain and road bike enthusiast.
When starting his own children on their biking journey, he realised how heavy and cumbersome standard children’s bikes were, and how this hindered their ability and enjoyment. In his search for a better solution, he came across Frog Bikes and immediately saw the benefits. His children have ridden second-hand Frog Bikes since. This, combined with his own passion for the biking world, had Dave immersing himself in refurbishing preloved Frog Bikes back to nearly new condition so other children could seek the same joy from biking that he and his children do.

Not that we expect any problems with our bikes, but to offer peace of mind for new customers and extend our outstanding customer service.
We offer a “FREE” 6-month safety check-up on all bikes purchased from ‘Refurbished Frog Bikes’.
This 6-month after-purchase safety check-up that you would usually get when purchasing a brand-new bike from a bike shop includes the following:
•Full nut, bolt, and screw tightness check
•Brake & gear cable tension & condition check
•Brake pads checked for even wear and adjusted if needed
•Function test of gears & index if needed
•Tyre condition, pressure checked, and pumped up to correct pressure
• Quick-release wheel and saddle check
•Chain oiled
•Wheels checked for misalignment & straightness
This service is by appointment and only takes around 10-15 minutes, so can be done while you wait.
